Progressive drumming with flow & authenticity
Over the years, Anna has established herself as a respected voice in progressive metal drumming, earning recognition for her use of polyrhythms, polymeters, and odd time signatures and her flow behind the drum kit. Session player in her field, she also currently tours internationally with her three bands Crimson Veil, DORJA, and Exometry.
A self-taught drummer from the outset, Anna overcame early struggles with tendonitis by dedicating herself to the study of Moeller and motion-based techniques. Her approach emphasizes efficiency, fluidity, and freedom of movement behind the kit—regardless of speed or complexity. This is with this background that Anna has built a global audience as an educator online. Her teaching focuses on helping drummers break through physical and mental limitations, develop confidence, and discover their own authentic voice on the instrument.
Beyond drumming, Anna creates video essays exploring creativity, purpose, and artistic authenticity on her own channel “Beyond Groove & Treble”, encouraging fellow artists to pursue meaningful work and cultivate a deeper connection with their craft while exploring the role of art in our society.
